Spink Controls’ Float & Board Level Gauge is a simple, reliable, and cost-effective instrument for continuous liquid level measurement in large storage tanks. It provides clear, direct, and easily readable indication of the liquid level from a distance.
Principle of Operation
The Float & Board Level Gauge operates on a simple float-pulley mechanism. A float resting on the liquid surface moves up and down with the changing liquid level. This movement is transmitted through a stainless steel wire rope passing over a pair of pulleys to a pointer that travels along a 150 mm wide aluminium scale, providing a direct, continuous, and accurate indication of the liquid level - all without the need for external power.
