SPINK CONTROLS Manufactures Magnetic Float Operated Top Mounted Level Switches, designed for monitoring and controlling one or multiple liquid levels using reed switch technology. The unit consists of a vertical guide pipe (stem) with reed switches mounted inside. A magnetic float slides along the stem in response to the liquid level in the tank. As the float passes a reed switch, the magnetic field actuates it, changing the output state. The reed relays retain their condition once operated. Different materials of construction are available to suit varying service conditions. Each level switch can accommodate up to 4 set points, with a maximum stem length of 3 meters.

• Operates on the principle of magnetic flux coupling, eliminating mechanical
• linkages and preventing fluid contamination of switch components.
• Suitable for liquids with specific gravity above 0.7.
• Can function in any position from vertical to an inclined angle of up to 30°
• Minimum distance between two level set points: 75 mm.
